Every once in awhile, I like to "disappear." As scary as it sounds, my temporal disappearance is carefully planned and whimsically executed to push myself out of the comfort zone and to explore the world one bite, one snap at a time.
While some travelers religiously stick to travel guides and online articles such as "New York: Top 10 Spots to Visit" with Times Square as its number one pick, I wholeheartedly believe in the story told by the local cuisine.
With cool apps and gears, I document every step of my travel to share where the best eateries are.

I am currently using Sony RX II. I am all about portability and easy-to-use camera that produces topnotch quality photos.
Before Sony, I used Canon PowerShot S model cameras (S95 & S100).
For iPhone apps, I use Foodie. It has pre-set filters that make your food photos even more craveworthy.

Every video is taken from my iPhone. For editing, I use Cameo to stitch, edit, and spice up with feisty music from its spectacular music catalogue.
You don't have to be a pro editor to take travel videos! Capture the moment and make it your own.

I haven't found any magical app that captures all your travel inspirations. To me, Google Doc works best for its accessibility.
I am a big fan of getting to know one place for a longer period of time rather than cramming several cities in a week.
