Upon Winter Restaurant Week’s commencement, I visited Ai Fiori as my first pick of the season.

I’ve never been a big fan of butternut squash especially in a soup form, but Zuppa di Zucca converted me into a devout worshiper within the first spoonful of its glory. It goes without saying, the rest of my lunch at Ai Fiori was nothing short of spectacular. Quick & Dirty, the rundown: Country Terrine reminded me of Paris where I first learned the insatiable world of pâté, Tagliatelle beats Maialino’s famous cacio e pepe, Gamba di Pollo was awesome yet I was convinced that I could find the something better else where. Last ones- Torta di Olio- pure love & Budino di Cioccolatoe was decadent.
